Jewish leaders honored at Borough Hall

Several Jewish communal leaders were honored at a Salute to Israel event at Borough Hall that was keyed to the launch of the Brooklyn Jewish Historical Initiative’s website — BrooklynJewish.org. The honorees were Shternie Raskin, director of the Gan Menachem Kiddie Corner Preschool in Brooklyn Heights; Rabbi Jack Meyer, director of Misaskin, which helps organize funerals for needy families; and the women’s Zionist organization Hadassah on its centennial.
