Law firm’s workshop aimed at Baby Boomers
The law firm of Grimaldi & Yeung LLP will hold a workshop aimed at assisting people in the Baby Boom generation to plan for retirement. The seminar, called “What Baby Boomers Need To Know to Maximize Retirement Income,” will take place on Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Dyker Beach Golf Club restaurant, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The workshop will cover the basics of Social Security and reveals strategies to help maximize benefits, according to representatives of the law firm.
The event is free.
“After being told for years that Social Security is ‘going broke,’ baby boomers are realizing that it will soon be their turn to collect. But the decisions you make now can have a tremendous impact on the total amount of benefits you stand to receive over the future,” according to a statement issued by the law firm.
