Santa Claus has nothing on Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis!

Malliotakis became Santa for the day on Monday, when she stopped by a Sunset Park day care center to deliver dozens of toys to children.

And she didn’t even need the red suit!

The lawmaker surprised and delighted children at Magical Years Early Childhood Center on 60th Street in Sunset Park Monday morning by strolling in with boxes of toys for them.

The childhood center is sponsored by Lutheran Medical Center.

Malliotakis (R-C-Bay Ridge-Staten Island) conducts a toy drive each year during the Christmas season.

In partnership with institutions such as Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, the Dimitrious and Georgia Kaloidis Parochial School, and Salam Arabic Lutheran Church – all in Bay Ridge – the assemblywoman collects toys with the goal of making the holidays brighter for children.

Malliotakis delivers the toys to Lutheran Medical Center and to programs affiliated with the hospital.
