Nydia Velazquez’s District Expands to Cover Entire Heights

Under the court-approved new Congressional district lines for New York State, the new 7th District of Rep. Nydia Velazquez expands eastward past Henry Street to include all of Brooklyn Heights.

Brooklyn Bridge Park and 360 Furman Street are within her district, which now takes in areas of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, a well as Sunnyside and Maspeth, Queens, a Velazquez spokesman confirmed Tuesday.
