UPDATE: The Daily News reported Tuesday morning that the lawsuit is being dropped.

A wheelchair-bound woman is suing a Benshonhurst bagel store for allegedly violating the Americans with Disabilities Act,  according to Gothamist. Maryann Santiago says Bagels Plus on New Utrecht Avenue is not handicapped accessible.

The owner of the store, it turns out, is Vincent Badalamenti, the reputed boss of the Boannno crime family. Santiago says she didn’t know the place was linked to the mob, but she won’t drop the lawsuit.
