The office of the Pope in the Vatican launched its Twitter account on Monday with the handle @Pontifex, a Latin word referencing the ancient priests of Rome, according to Ad Age.

The name, however, is very similar to @Pontiflex, the handle for Pontiflex, a mobile advertising platform located at 45 Main St. in DUMBO. Since Monday morning, the Brooklyn firm has gotten hundreds of tweets from Twitter uses who accidentally inserted an “L” into the Papal handle, according to Crain’s New York Business.

Eventually, Zephrin Lasker, Pontiflex CEO, posted this sentence online:

“Thanks for following us, but if you’re looking for the Vatican, their handle is Pontifex.”
