Pratt exhibit to feature famous creations by alumni, faculty
Pratt Institute, the prestigious college of art, design, and architecture whose historic main campus is in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, will continue its 125th anniversary celebration with the opening of “125 Icons,” an exhibit featuring a rare collection of images and iconic works produced by alumni and faculty.
These renowned works of art, architecture, and design — from Betty Boop to the Chrysler Building, from the LIFE logo to history-making covers of Esquire — will go on display on Nov. 30 at Pratt’s Manhattan campus.
The exhibition inductees, which were voted upon by the public on Pratt’s online viewing gallery, were announced on Oct. 15 at Pratt Institute’s 125th anniversary gala event at the Waldorf-Astoria.
