P.S. 295 Touch-A-Truck Brooklyn 2012
On April 28th, P.S. 295: The Studio School for Arts & Culture will host Brooklyn’s second Touch-A-Truck street fair. At this fun family event, kids will have a chance to climb inside and explore some of the working trucks and vehicles they see in everyday life.
Touch-A-Truck Brooklyn 2012 will be bigger and better than ever: more trucks, longer hours, shorter lines, and more great food. Over 20 vehicles are scheduled to take part, along with their drivers/operators, who will be on hand to explain how these vehicles work and what purpose they serve in the community. Highlights include a FDNY fire engine, NYPD police car, DSNY garbage truck, an ambulance, concrete mixer, tow truck, cherry picker, animal adoption van, the Green-Wood Cemetery Trolley and more.
