Regina Opera presents free concerts at Brooklyn Public Library branches

Regina Opera will present two free-admission concerts at branches of the Brooklyn Public Library.

As part of the Brooklyn Public Library’s Services for Older Adults program, the New Utrecht and Bay Ridge branches of the Public Library will host a one-hour concert by Regina Opera. The concerts will feature opera and Broadway selections, performed by Regina Opera soloists.

On June 10, the New Utrecht event will feature Lisa Bryce - soprano; Daniel Kerr - tenor; Thomas Geib - baritone; and accompanied by Richard Paratley - flutist and Maxine Feldman - pianist. The event will begin at 1:30 p.m. The New Utrecht Public Library is located at 1743 86th St.

On June 12, the Bay Ridge event will feature opera soloists Mizuko Takeshita - soprano; Jahmaul Bakare - tenor; Rocky Sellers - basso; and accompanied by Richard Paratley - flutist and Maxine Feldman - pianist.  

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. The Bay Ridge Library is located at 7223 Ridge Blvd.

Lisa Bryce, soprano, will perform June 10 at the New Utrecht Branch.

Mizuho Takeshita, soprano, will perform June 12 at the Bay Ridge branch.
