Rep. Bob Turner To Run for Senate

Recently elected Congressman Bob Turner (R-Brooklyn/Queens) said Tuesday that he plans to seek both the Republican and Conservative nominations for U.S. senator against Democratic incumbent Kirsten Gillibrand. In his statement, he said that while his current district will probably be eliminated due to redistricting, “There is serious work to be done to get this economy back on track, and I will not walk away from that work now.”
