Habitat for Humanity- NYC welcomed new residents during a home dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 15 for its 12-unit affordable condominium project, St. John’s Residences in Ocean Hill-Brownsville.

The new-construction condos, at 1812 St. John’s Place, are now home to a dozen low-income families, who will live in the affordable, two- and three-bedroom units.

“In keeping with our commitment to green building, these homes meet LEED and ENERGY STAR standards to ensure healthy environments and cost-saving fuel efficiency,” said Rachel Hyman, Habitat-NYC acting director.
