Just in time for the first day of summer, Coney Island looked as great as ever for its annual Mermaid Parade, which was nearly shuttered for the year because of Sandy. Check out some great exclusive Eagle photos from our very own Mario Belluomo.

Classic cars are always a centerpiece of the parade, although they have to compete with scantily-clad young women.

These two are walking on stilts, but we doubt that they’ll reach the height of the Cyclone, seen in the background.

This woman has found a novel way to use plants as a hairdo.
