Save Date for Brooklyn Small Business Expo

RED HOOK — Registration is now open for the Second Annual Brooklyn Small Business & Procurement Expo, set for Friday, Mar. 9, at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal  in Red Hook.
Sponsored by the Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Development Corporation (SBIDC) and LaGuardia Community College Business Services., the event is expected to attract more than 100 exhibitors — last year there were 165 — and attract more than 1,000 attendees.

State Senator Velmanette Montgomery, Councilmember Diana Reyna and Seth Pinsky, president of the city’s Economic Development Corporation (EDC) have been invited to speak.
The event will also feature panel discussions and opportunities to network with other businesses, government agencies and public officials.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free parking, shuttle bus service and a Continental breakfast will be provided. The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is at 70 Imlay St., Pier #12, in Red Hook.
