Something stinks in Manhattan Beach

Residents of 301 Oriental Boulevard in Manhattan Beach building say an “intolerable” stench has developed as a result of flood waters mixing with barrels of oil located in the basement. News reports say the smell is so bad that it has forced everyone to move out. The Sheepshead Bites blog asks “why the heck there were barrels of oil sitting in the basement?”
