Special Halloween light show planned for NYC’s Empire State Building
Choreographed to spooky music
At 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Halloween night, New York City’s Empire State Building will light up with a Halloween-themed LED light show choreographed by famous lighting designer Marc Brickman to a spooky soundtrack on Clear Channel’s radio stations Z100 (100.3 FM) and KTU (103.5 FM).
As an added touch, Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. (ESRT), owner of the Empire State Building, has installed lights for the first time on the iconic skyscraper’s antenna.
ESRT says that the addition of the new antenna LED (light emitting diode) lights will offer “more than 200 feet of new lighting capabilities.” With the recent switchover to LEDs, the building is capable of light shows featuring 16 million colors.
