Two Trees is seeking community input on how to develop the Domino Sugar site it purchased in October, Brownstoner reports. On Friday, the firm put out a formal request for proposals on “a fun and creative use” for what is known as Site E, a lot located on Kent Avenue between South 3rd and South 4th streets in Williamsburg.

The idea is to do something interesting with the 55,000 square-foot lot for the year or more before construction begins. So far, proposals have included an ice skating rink and High Line-style park.

Two Trees, known primarily for its development of the DUMBO neighborhood, acquired the 11-acre Domino site from C.P.C. Resources, which had planned a $1.4 billion residential development there.
