A 26-year-old man who jumped to his death from the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge Wednesday morning has been identified as a Brooklyn man. According to the Staten Island Advance, Andre Carrasco, of 287 Cornelia St., Bushwick, became the second suicide in a month at the bridge. He abandoned his car on the Staten Island-bound side of the bridge’s upper level about 6:20 a.m. and jumped over the railing and into the water below, according to SI Live. A harbor unit recovered his body in the Narrows waterway.
