Double whammy on the Williamsburg retail front!

An investment firm run by two Cornell grads just bought neighboring buildings rented to two youth-focused clothing chains.

RedSky Capital, co-founded by Ben Bernstein and Ben Stokes (yep, they're both named Ben), bought 98 N. 6th St., the soon-to-be home of Urban Outfitters and its booze-serving restaurant, and 100-104 N. 6th St., which houses American Apparel.

Their $49 million purchase also includes 92 N. 6th St., city Department of Finance records indicate.

Will the new owners construct apartments at the American Apparel building? The prior landlord got Buildings Department approval for plans to add a third and fourth floor with eight residential units.
