Once again, Mayor Michael Bloomberg is likely to get his way, and Coney Island will never be the same..
Bloomberg has been trying for years to replace Coney Island’s iconic wooden boardways with concrete. After the distruction wrought by Hurricane Sandy, it’s unlikely the city will see new boardwalks build of actual board.
