Good morning. Today is the 338th day of the year. On this day in 1991, the last American hostage, Terry Anderson of the Associated Press, was released in Lebanon. He had been held since 1985, one of 15 Americans who were taken hostage during that country’s civil war.
Well-known people who were born today include model-actress Tyra Banks, actress Deanna Durbin, Brooklyn-born actress Marisa Tomei and jazz singer Cassandra Wilson.
