Mon. Dec. 7, Judge Sifton Memorial Service, 5 p.m. A memorial for U.S. District Judge Charles P. Sifton, who presided for more than 30 years on the bench, will be held in Brooklyn federal court at 225 Cadman Plaza East in Downtown Brooklyn. Judge Sifton died Nov. 9 at age 74 from lung disease.
