The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership has announced an “open call” to arts organizations interested in relocating to the BAM Cultural District.
Made in cooperation with the Department of Cultural Affairs and in consultation with the city’s Economic Development Corp., the open call is the next step in advancing development and assembling “an exciting mix of visual, performing, media and other arts organizations in the BAM Cultural District.” This is an opportunity to discover the space needs of arts organizations that could be accommodated in new BAM district developments.
Interested arts groups may schedule a meeting with the partnership to review proposals or ideas for projects. Information guidelines, found on the partnership’s Web site, identify details that organizations will need to be prepared to discuss — such as space needs, estimated costs and organizational capacity.
The deadline for all inquiries is 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14.
For information and guidelines, please call (718) 403-1600 or visit www.dbpartnership.org/opencall.
