14 Units Include 2 Penthouses, 4 Duplexes
WILLIAMSBURG — It was the neighborhood — “a vibrant part of Williamsburg” — that attracted developer Dan Darouvar of Forest Hills to a residential development site on Manhattan Avenue.
“We liked the energy and the vibe here,” he said. “Many parts of Williamsburg are industrial. Our project is on a beautiful tree-lined street that we know buyers will be attracted to.”
It’s being called the Evry Condominium because it’s “everything you ever wanted,” according to David Maundrell, president of AptsandLofts.com, who is handling sales and marketing for the 14-unit building at 273-275 Manhattan Ave.
“As the market gets tighter and buyers demand more from condo developers you must be committed to giving the buyers what they want,” he said. “We feel EVRY does that.”
The new construction is a mix of traditional (it has a red brick exterior) and modern (it has floor-to-ceiling windows).
The five-story, 60-foot tall building’s 14 units include two “impressive” penthouses, according to Maundrell, at 1,103 and 1,115 square feet — each with two bedrooms, two bathrooms a private roof deck, balcony and city views; four duplexes on the ground floor ranging in size from 941 to 1,239 square feet, each with outdoor garden space; and eight remaining units that are a mix of studios and one-bedrooms ranging in size from 809 to 1,037 square feet.
Described as luxury units with high-end appliances and finishes plus washer/dryer hookups, soaking tubs and more, the prices are still considered “moderate,” Maundrell said. Prices range from $449,000 for the smallest duplex to $959,000 for a penthouse.
