Includes 17 Properties of Those Who Died Without a Will or Heir

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN β A minimum of $7 million could be taken in for 17 properties at an auction in Downtown Brooklyn Tuesday, Oct. 6, according to the Public Administrator of Kings County.
The auction, set to begin at 2 p.m. β pre-registration is at 12:45 p.m. β at Brooklyn Supreme Court, 360 Adams St., Room 144A, is sponsored by the Public Administrator on behalf of the Surrogates Court and includes properties offered in an βas isβ physical condition.
The properties previously belonged to those who died without a will or without family members who are able to administer their estate.
Potential bidders will be permitted to view the properties during two open houses on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The following are among the properties to be auctioned, including their minimum opening bids:
β’ 130 Hicks St., Unit 6C, a co-op β $160,000
β’ 280 Hicks St. β $2 million
β’ 133 Cornelia St. β $270,000 ($140,000)
β’ 1655 Flatbush Ave., Unit B508 β $110,000
β’ 541 Snediker Ave. β $290,000
β’ 1488 Union St. β $420,000
β’ 100 Remsen St., Unit 8E, a co-op β $150,000
β’ 418 Macon St. β $500,000
β’ 373 Grand Ave., Unit 2 (income restricted) β $50,000
β’ 2702 Avenue Z β $615,000
