As hundreds of students flooded Downtown Brooklyn after school Tuesday, a disturbance involving a high school student and a private security guard broke out on Willoughby Street near Pearl Street. Witnesses said that the incident appeared to be triggered when the security guard told a student to move along. The incident escalated and police from the 84th Precinct were called in. Throngs of students and passersby clogged the streets as police handcuffed the near-hysterical student, as seen above. Tensions became momentarily high when an officer told one recalcitrant pedestrian to move along. Further information was not available at press time.
