Rapper Mike Beck, member of Fat Joe Cartagena’s K.A.R. Collective, was mourned Monday by the hip-hop community after he was killed Friday in Brooklyn. Reports are that robbery was the motive. Fat Joe confirmed the death via Twitter saying only “RIP Mike Beck!!!!� Beck grew up in East New York with his parents separated and both addicted to drugs. He took to the streets at age 13 and went to prison at age 17.
