Partnership with Children 6th – 8th grade students from JHS 265 in Fort Greene teamed up recently one-to-one with volunteers from New York Life to participate in a school beautification project.
During the event, an initiative of New York Life’s Global Month of Service, the pairs planted a garden around the school grounds. The project marks the culmination of a seven-month long job readiness/financial literacy pilot program between New York Life’s African American Employee Network Group and a group of Partnership with Children students from its Job Readiness & Environmental Groups.
