Wednesday at 4 p.m., Howard Shore, Oscar and Grammy-winning composer, will rehearse with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, one of the country’s leading children’s choruses, at their studio on Pacific Street in Cobble Hill. They will be rehearsing for a performance next month of The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring scheduled for Radio City Music Hall. Shore’s work on the Lord of the Rings trilogy has earned him three Academy Awards. He also served as music director of Saturday Night Live from 1975 to 1980.
