by Brooklyn Eagle (edit@brooklyneagle.net), published online 06-30-2009

Joe Coluccio Receives ‘Regional Champion Award’

Brooklyn Allstate agency owner Joseph Coluccio has received the Regional Champion Award from Allstate Insurance Company for his “high standards in customer satisfaction, customer retention and profitable business growth.”

His agency is now one of the top Allstate agencies in the nation in auto, property, commercial, power sports insurance and financial services sales, according to Charlie Lala, New York Region sales leader.

“Joseph is a respected member of the business community,” said Lala. “I am proud of the commitment that Joseph and his agency show their customers. With his team of dedicated employees, Coluccio is dedicated to helping customers meet their protection and retirement needs while managing a successful small business.”

Coluccio owns the Allstate agency at 238 Avenue U in Brooklyn.

“It’s a tremendous honor to earn Regional Champion recognition,” said Coluccio. “My agency's commitment is to serve customers and the Brooklyn community.”

Richard Meyers Named Allstate Hero

Allstate agent Richard Meyers, whose office is at 328 Ninth St. in Park Slope, was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region for awarding a $1,000 grant to the Brooklyn Division of the Boy Scouts of New York.

“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Brooklyn community every single day,” said Meyers. “It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to the Scouts and hopefully touch the lives of the youth who are involved.”

Barbara Shamah Leeds Named Hero

Brooklyn Allstate agent and “Allstate Hero” Barbara Shamah Leeds presented her $1,000 donation to B’nai Brith Youth Organization members Michelle Feifowicz and Max Alperin. Leeds’ office is at 2110 Flatbush Ave. in Flatbush.
