Isaac H. Cary, a realtor at 200 Fulton Street, had some “low rent” flats “to let” according to his ad in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle of November 2, 1902. At 65 Henry Street, 7 steam-heated rooms could be had for $24. $25 to $32 could rent 6 steam-heated rooms at 71 Pineapple Street. At 98 Orange Street, 8 rooms and a bath was $30. If you were in the market for a house, one was advertised for sale near Carroll Park by A. J. Dooher, 272 Court Street: 3 stories and basement, 3-family house, 14 rooms in fine order, all for a total of $4,300.
