DOT Plans Meeting in Flatbush on Improvements To Church Avenue
by Brooklyn Eagle (edit@brooklyneagle.net), published online 11-02-2009

FLATBUSH — The improvement of Church Avenue will be the topic of a public meeting in Flatbush Tuesday, Nov. 10, sponsored by the city’s Department of Transportation (DOT).

Residents, business owners and managers and others are invited to participate and provide ideas to the DOT on improving Church Avenue, particularly the section between McDonald and Utica avenues where congestion is heavy.

Participants are asked to share their ideas and to comment on the DOT’s own proposals to improve congestion along this corridor that will be presented at the meeting.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Those who wish to speak are asked to sign in beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The location is the auditorium at Erasmus High School, 911 Flatbush Ave. just south of Church Avenue. For additional information, please call (212) 839-4850.
