On Saturday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Plymouth Church hosts a favorite autumn tradition in Brooklyn Heights. On the day of Yankee Fair, Orange Street between Hicks and Henry Streets and the ground floor of the Plymouth Church campus are transformed into a fairground of activities and shopping. Enjoy a festive mix of children’s activities, performances, home cooking and handcrafted gifts with a shopping bonanza of antiques, collectibles, vintage and designer clothing, prepared foods, books, toys and gently-used children’s clothing.
Fun for kids includes bouncy inflatables; pony rides and carriage rides; Lucky Dip and Tombola; face painting; candy sculpting, wreath weaving and hat trimming; dressing-up house; instant portraits and much more. Everyone will enjoy a full schedule of performances and special activities, from Liam the Magician to chamber music from the Brooklyn Conservatory.
