Susan Hayward was born in Brooklyn on June 30, 1918. She was indisputably one of Hollywood’s most beautiful and talented actresses. She is pictured here (right) with Lillian Roth at the Manhattan premiere of I’ll Cry Tomorrow (1955) in which she portrayed Roth. It won Hayward an Oscar nomination as Best Actress and of all her films it was her personal favorite.
