How Brooklyn is that?

It’s a stoop-endous idea: Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon (Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Cobble Hill) is inviting her constituents to join her for conversations where Brooklynites traditionally hang out to chat and observe the hurly-burly of street life – on the stoop.

“Let’s assemble on the stoop!” she says in her shout-out to her Brownstone neighbors.

Simon said she wants to hear about her constituents’ concerns. “Do you have a question you’d like to ask? A topic you’d like to discuss? Here’s your chance to talk directly with your Assemblymember about what matters to you.”

The conversations on three different stoops throughout the 52nd Assembly District will be “impromptu,” she adds.

In Brooklyn Heights, the stoop conversation takes place on Sept. 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the stoop at 140 Joralemon St. (between Clinton and Henry streets).

In Park Slope, meet Assemblymember Simon on Oct. 1 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the stoop at 642 Union St. (between Fourth and Fifth avenues).

In Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill, meet on October 6 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the stoop at 380 Clinton St. (between Sackett and DeGraw streets).
