Stringer to hold Brooklyn town hall
New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer is coming to Brooklyn to hear what residents have to say.
Stringer will hold a town hall on Thursday, Aug. 4 at the New York Aquarium Education Hall at Surf Avenue and West Eighth Street in Coney Island. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
The town hall, which Stringer is presenting in partnership with U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, state Sen. Diane Savino, Assemblymember Pamela Harris and Councilmembers Chaim Deutsch and Mark Treyger, is open to all, but will focus on issues of concern to residents of Southern Brooklyn, according to the Comptroller’s Office.
