There’s a new face on Atlantic Avenue.

The condo development that’s replacing a Shell gas station is now showing its face to the world.

For a good long time, the building that’s under construction on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Henry Street was shrouded in sheets of white plastic.

Part of this shroud was recently removed, revealing a hand-laid red brick facade and multi-paned steel-frame windows.

The four-story condo building, which is using the property’s side-street address, 325 Henry St., is located within the boundaries of the Cobble Hill Historic District.

Folks who used to fill up their cars at the gas station probably remember its address was 112 Atlantic Ave.

The developers of the condo building are Avery Hall Investments and OTL Enterprises.

BKSK Architects was its designer.

The developers bought the gas-station site for $7.75 million in April 2014, city Finance Department records indicate.

In December 2014, the city Landmarks Preservation Commission approved BKSK Architects’ design for the condo building after the architecture firm revised initial drawings that had been presented at a  public hearing the preservation agency held in November 2014.

Sale contracts for all eight units were signed some time ago. Deborah Rieders of Corcoran Group was in charge of marketing the condos.

The highest asking price was $5.495 million, which was for a five-bedroom penthouse.

Each apartment has a parking space — in the property’s automated parking facility.
