Winter, spring, summer or fall,

All you have to do is call.

In every season, Brooklyn Bridge Park calls out to be seen. Sounds like Carole King’s old song, doesn’t it?

The park’s shoreline vistas are always eye-pleasing. But they are particularly poignant as fall draws to a close.

Selfie snappers are swathed in scarves and winter coats.

Gauzily garbed brides suppress shivers as they pose for photos with the Brooklyn Bridge and the World Trade Center as their backdrop.

The last leaves on the Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO park’s trees are tinged with somber autumnal hues.

The rooftop of the historic Empire Stores retail and office complex is a good place to go for a bird’s-eye view of Jane’s Carousel and the World Trade Center.

Luckily for lovers of aerial views, the rooftop of Empire Stores, a former coffee warehouse built in the 19th century, remains open in chilly weather.

The rooftop bar at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge does not. When the weather’s warm, the top of the recently constructed hotel is also a popular place to see aerial views of Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Sailboats that spend their summers moored alongside the park’s Picnic Peninsula have departed. Nevertheless, there’s some aquatic activity nearby since the NYC Ferry makes stops at Pier 6.

By the way, Pier 6 is a good spot to snap photos at sunset, which of course happens really early this time of year.
