A Brooklyn man pleaded not guilty on Friday to charges that allege he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s Seagate apartment where he raped her and fatally slit her friend’s throat, all while her 11-year-old daughter hid in the bedroom.

Ruslan Baimov, 40, appeared in Brooklyn Supreme Court in handcuffs and a white thermal T-shirt to be arraigned on upgraded charges after a grand jury indicted him on Nov. 22.

The Seagate man faces up to life in prison without parole on the pile of charges, including first-degree murder, rape, predatory sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment for the Oct. 29 attack, according to court documents.

The indictment came after his former lover’s friend, Larysa Saad, died from her wounds at Coney Island Hospital eight days after the attack.

Baimov allegedly slit her throat after pushing an air conditioner in through a window and breaking into the apartment. When the 38-year-old girlfriend came out of the shower, Baimov was there with a knife to Saad’s throat, prosecutors said.

He left the 42-year-old woman bleeding from her neck for hours as he allegedly cut the other woman’s clothes, ran the knife throughout her body, cut her leg and raped her.

Five hours passed with the ex-girlfriend’s child hiding as her mother was allegedly raped near Saad gasping for air, court documents detail.

“The depravity of this defendant’s alleged actions is almost beyond words. He inflicted unimaginable terror and horror on this family and took the life of their innocent and beloved friend,” District Attorney-elect Eric Gonzalez said in a statement. “I intend to make sure that he is held responsible for each and every crime with which he is charged.”

The courtroom was nearly empty for Baimov when Supreme Court Justice Neil Firetog ordered him held without bail to return to court on Feb. 9.

He is also charged with first-degree burglary, sexual abuse and other counts for allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home on Oct. 23 to cut her clothes with a knife and molest her.
