Business was quite brisk Monday evening at Brooklyn’s latest Apple store, which cuts a dramatic triangular wedge into the sky at 123 Flatbush Ave. in Fort Greene, within the BAM Cultural District. The store opened on Saturday.

According to Apple Insider, the store (dubbed Apple Downtown Brooklyn, though not officially in Downtown) has 160 employees. More than 40 of the “geniuses,” wearing bright red shirts, could be seen working the floor on Monday. Despite the crowd, several — including a helpful employee named Wendy — worked dedicatedly to solve this reporter’s issue with a mini-tripod.

The Apple Store is not just about buying and fixing your Apple products, staffers said. Michael, an Apple employee who lives in Boerum Hill, talked up numerous activities offered at the store, including photo walks and classes. These range from how to create spreadsheets to pro tips for creating music videos and art pieces.

The emporium’s visually stunning interior features huge triangular windows, potted ficus trees, wooden tables and displays filled with products.

This is Apple’s second Brooklyn location; the first is in Williamsburg.
