Love blooms in Brooklyn Democratic Party
Political aide proposes to girlfriend at Seddio’s holiday celebration
Two rising young stars of Brooklyn politics are getting hitched.
Priscilla Consolo, a native of Gravesend who has served as an aide to Assemblymember William Colton and has worked behind the scenes on Councilmember Mark Treyger’s successful campaigns, is engaged to Adam Diamond, who has worked for and campaigned for state Sen. Roxanne Persaud, Councilmember Alan Maisel and other Democratic lawmakers.
“It’s helpful that we have both worked in politics. It’s a demanding life but we both understand that life,” Consolo, 23, told the Brooklyn Eagle.
