Seth DuCharme appointed EDNY Chief of Criminal Division
After serving as chief of the National Security and Cybercrime section of the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Eastern District of New York (EDNY), Seth DuCharme has been appointed to Chief of the Criminal Division, officials announced on Thursday.
DuCharme, who began his new position on March 1, has an extensive history prosecuting a wide variety of high-profile cases for the office in his background.
He joined the office in March 2008 to serve in the General Crimes, Violent Crimes, Terrorism and National Security, and Cybercrime sections. DuCharme also worked as a national security cyber specialist and a representative on the department’s Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council.
