Brooklyn Criminal Bar takes private tour of 9/11 Museum
Members of the Kings County Criminal Bar Association (KCCBA) and their friends received a special private tour of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum on a rainy Thursday night in Manhattan.
For the many of those in attendance who were in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001, working in Downtown Brooklyn or in Manhattan, it was an emotional visit.
“I know that I speak for all those in attendance when I say that the experience was incredibly meaningful and deeply moving, despite the difficulties that we all faced in confronting our emotions and memories of that horrible day,” said the KCCBA President Michael Farkas. “The museum itself was extraordinary and superbly done. I know that I will need to return so I can spend several more hours exploring the historical exhibition.”
