After a successful launch to its Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Advisory Board last December, Barclays Center has expanded the elite group with the following industry leaders in sports, entertainment, and media, as well as a major entertainment personality:

·         Adrian Grenier, Actor, Producer, Director and Musician

·         Mindy Grossman , CEO, HSNi

·         Stephen Hill, President of Programming, BET

·         Karen Brooks Hopkins, President, BAM

Created by Brett Yormark, CEO of Barclays Center, and Charlie Walk, Executive Vice President of Republic Records at Universal Music Group, the 30-plus member Advisory Board contributes to the programming strategy and direction for Barclays Center and will also offer its overall expertise to the soon to be recreated Nassau Coliseum, the Brooklyn Paramount Theatre at LIU, and future venues.

The Advisory Board will also be part of the planning for many upcoming major Barclays Center events, including the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament, the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, its annual New Year’s Eve shows that are featured on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC, and other world-class events to be announced soon.

“In just two months our Advisory Board has become an instrumental resource for Barclays Center and we are proud to expand our diversified group with some of the most influential and prominent leaders in the sports and entertainment world,” said Barclays Center and Brooklyn Nets CEO Brett Yormark, who is Co-Chair of the Advisory Board.  “On the heels of NBA All-Star 2015, Barclays Center has hosted some of the best events and top artists, but we want to continue to improve and our Advisory Board will make a major impact on our future and the launch of Nassau Coliseum.”

“As we continue to evolve, we continue to collect the most creative and innovative minds in sports & entertainment,” said Charlie Walk, who is Co-Chair of the Advisory Board.
