Celebrate Earth Week at Brooklyn Borough Hall
BP Adams takes an Earth Day Bike Ride to Work
Brooklyn Borough Hall is celebrating Earth Week by hosting a week of activities designed to protect the environment and reduce waste, this week through Friday, April 24.
As part of his push for a greener planet, Borough President Eric Adams joined members of the community for a bike ride from Prospect Park to his Borough Hall office on Wednesday.
“We only get one Mother Earth, and we need to treat her as kindly as we treat our own mother,” he said in a statement. “From Newtown Creek to Jamaica Bay, Brooklynites are reminded all the time of the beauty and fragility of our local environment.”
