The other day, we went with David Ehrenberg, the president and CEO of Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corp., to look at the grand, colonnaded hospital and its companion buildings at the Naval Annex, as this part of the famed former shipbuilding complex is called.
The Tuckahoe marble building was America’s first Naval hospital.
