The house on the corner of Church Avenue and Stratford Road is looking good.

In December 2014, Abramo LLC, with David Shavolian and Yonel Devico as members, bought 82 Stratford Road for $952,063 from an estate, city Finance Department records indicate.

They renovated the stand-alone single-family house, which has a big lawn. It is located in the Prospect Park South Historic District.

Now, five-bedroom 82 Stratford Road is up for sale at a $2.957 million asking price.

According to a posting on Corcoran Group’s website, the developers restored original interior details such as the mantel of the wood-burning fireplace, pocket doors, coffered ceilings and stained- and leaded-glass windows. Corcoran Group’s Laura Rozos has the listing.

According to Brownstoner.com, the initial asking price had been $3.25 million.

125 Stratford Road

In June, Michael Carroll and Zhaochun Wu paid $2 million for 125 Stratford Road, Finance Department records indicate. The listing broker was Douglas Elliman.

The seven-bedroom Prospect Park South Historic District house was designed by Carroll Pratt and built in 1903.

170 Stratford Road

We love turrets.

The charming house at 170 Stratford Road has a great one, and a circular-shaped porch, too.

Prominent architect Benjamin Driesler designed the Free Classical-style house. It was built in 1905 for Walter Clayton, a Brooklyn builder who served in the state Assembly for five years.

The seven-bedroom Prospect Park South Historic District house, which is on the corner of Hinckley Place, is for sale. The asking price is $2.59 million. Nate Darwish, a salesperson at brokerage New York Residence, has the listing.

According to a Trulia.com posting, previously the asking price had been $2.8 million, then $2.66 million.

229 Stratford Road

In a neighborhood where the old-fashioned house is king, Stas Zakrzewski and Marianne Hyde are doing a very modern type of home remodeling.

The principals of ZH Architects are retrofitting 229 Stratford Road, a three-story, timber-framed 1930s-vintage home, as a “passive house.”

According to postings on ZH Architects’ website, a passive house greatly reduces energy use by deploying efficient insulation, good windows and “heat-recovery ventilation.” The air inside the home is filtered and less likely to contain mold, pollutants and allergens than that in a conventionally built house.

The website identifies the homeowners as Itzy and Bo.

According to Finance Department records, they are Itzaskun Garay and Bo Poulsen, who bought the house for $1.425 million in September 2014.

Poulsen is an agent at real estate brokerage Compass.

The house is located in a portion of Ditmas Park that’s not landmarked.

25 Dekoven Court

A solarium with 12 windows. We like the sound of that.

The century-old Victorian house at 25 Dekoven Court has such a sun room, according to a posting on Brooklyn Hearth Realty’s website about the now-sold property. A licensed broker/owner at the firm, Rebekah Carver, had the listing for the charming six-bedroom home.

According to Finance Department records, Warren Schuman and Shelly Schuman bought the house for $2 million in June.

It’s located in Ditmas Park, outside the neighborhood’s historic district.
