There are numerous appealing properties for sale on prime Park Slope blocks — among them 536 4th St., which has captured our attention because of its long driveway.

According to a posting by the Corcoran Group, which has the listing, the asking price for the five-bedroom house is $6.45 million.

The century-old residence is part of a row of more than 20 limestone and brownstone townhouses designed by Brooklyn architect Arthur Koch, a 1973 city Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) designation report about the Park Slope Historic District says.

City Finance Department records identify the current owners of the house as Robert Caruso and Jean Sopinko.

* If 838 Carroll St. sells for its $15 million asking price, the transaction will be nearly a record-breaker for Brooklyn, exceeded in price only by last year’s $15.5 million sale of 177 Pacific St. in Cobble Hill.

According to a posting by Douglas Elliman, the listing broker, 838 Carroll St.’s main residence has 11 working wood-burning fireplaces.

There’s also a garden apartment in the 1880s-vintage house, which was designed by distinguished architect C.P.H. Gilbert.

The LPC designation report about the Park Slope Historic District calls 838 Carroll St. an “unusually fine Romanesque Revival brownstone residence” and says it was built for attorney James H. Remington, who was a president of the United States Law Association.

According to Finance Department records, the current owner, which is an LLC with Joseph Accetta as a member, paid $3.8 million for the house in 2014.

* A limestone mansion at 104 Prospect Park West is on the market for an $11 million asking price.

A posting by listing broker Douglas Elliman says the five-story house has just been renovated.

Axel Hedman was the architect who designed the neo-Italian Renaissance single-family home, which was built in 1899, the LPC designation report says.

According to Finance Department records, the current owners, Huw L. Richards and Erinn Kindig, paid $3.7 million for the house in 2012. Before that, Robert Makla, other members of his family and a family trust had been its long-time owners.

Makla, who died in 2010, was a beloved Park Slope preservationist and advocate for the city’s parks. He was a lawyer and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

* Jenna Lyons’ old house is for sale. The asking price is $6.5 million.

Coldwell Banker Mid-Plaza Real Estate has the listing.

Lyons, who is J. Crew’s president and creative director, owned the neo-Grec and Second Empire-style townhouse at 178 Garfield Place for eight years. She sold it in 2012 for $4 million to its current owners, Vincent Martin and Tracy Hurley Martin, Finance Department records indicate.

Lyons had paid $1.308 million for the house in 2004, Finance Department records show.
