Now that’s A Room With A View.

A rooftop room with walls of glass stretching from floor to ceiling.

From this room, you can see the sun set behind the World Trade Center and watch the Empire State Building turn bright colors as it lights up at nightfall. A terrace surrounding the room makes it easy to take selfies with jaw-dropping Manhattan skyscrapers as a backdrop.

Brooklyn’s got a superb new spot for scenery-gazing: The rooftop bar of the William Vale.

This hotel is on the corner of Wythe Avenue and North 12th Street in Williamsburg. The bar, which is on the hotel’s 22nd floor, is called Westlight.

The 183-room William Vale, which was built by Riverside Developers, opened at 111 N. 12th St. in September.

The distinctive-looking poured-in-place concrete hotel — with glassed-in lower floors that look like they are standing on stilts and balconies on all the guest rooms — was designed by architecture firm Albo Liberis.

Riverside Developers belongs to Zelig Weiss.

Some final construction is still going on at the hotel — on the ground-floor and lower-level retail complex, which uses 55 Wythe as a marketing name.

One space in it is being prepped for a donut shop— which will be run by a James Beard Award-winning chef.

Wylie Dufresne was a pioneer in molecular gastronomy with a now-closed Lower East Side restaurant called wd~50. His new eatery at the William Vale will be called Du’s Donuts and Coffee Shop.

Another high-profile chef, Andrew Carmellini, is in charge of the hotel’s rooftop bar as well as a restaurant that has opened next to the William Vale’s lobby.

This restaurant, Leuca, has a wood-fired pizza oven and a menu with Southern Italian cuisine.

Rates for rooms booked on the William Vale’s website start at $299 per night, prepaid. And the other day, when we did an online price check, there was a “staycation” promotion with rates starting at $199 per night.

“A Room With A View” is the name of an E.M. Forster novel. You knew that, of course, but we wanted to mention it anyway.
