A 16-year employee of a Red Hook charter bus company allegedly stole more than a million dollars in amusement park tickets using her company’s credit card, officials announced Wednesday.

Rosemarie Bader, 51, was arraigned before Supreme Court Justice Danny Chun for grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property at Brooklyn Supreme Court.

Bader, the former sales director for Best Trails and Travel Corporation (BTTC), at 5 Signourney St. in Red Hook, allegedly used the company credit card to buy more than 36,000 tickets to nearby amusement parks.

“This defendant allegedly engaged in a long-term and large-scale fraud scheme, stealing over $1 million in property from her employer, a local business in Brooklyn, which entrusted her with its credit card,” acting Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said in a statement.

BTTC offers private and corporate charter bus packages to various locations, including amusement parks and casinos.

Between January 2014 and November 2016, Bader allegedly bought 23,136 tickets to Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania and 13,102 tickets to Six Flags in Jackson, New Jersey, according to the statement.

A portion of the tickets were redeemed at the parks but unconnected to company trips and the remainder were kept by Bader “for her own use,” the statement read.

Bader allegedly intercepted the UPS and FedEx ticket deliveries and stored the stubs in a personal safe under her desk.

It is estimated that she bought at least $1.533 million worth of tickets.

Her alleged scheme was discovered by an employer in 2016 when it was revealed that company ticket orders exceeded available bus seats.

Bader was fired in October 2016.

She faces up to 25 years in prison on the top charge.

She was ordered held on $500,000 bond or $250,000 cash bail to return to court on Oct. 11.
