The Greene Hill Food Co-op in Clinton Hill has raised enough funds to find a new home after its landlord sold the co-op’s longtime home last month, according to the Brooklyn Paper.

The market, which had been located on Putnam Avenue for many years, received an eviction notice earlier this year. Rather than getting discouraged, the co-op’s board went into high gear and started an online fundraising campaign, which has now produced almost $40,000.The co-op will soon move into a former furniture store on Fulton Street between Classon Avenue and Claver Place, the Brooklyn Paper reported. Now, members plan to hold a big fundraising bash featuring food and live music to cover the remaining expenses.
